The home is quite an upgrade from the small wood-frame house in Latta where Raymond Felton and Barbara Felton raised their son, Charlotte Bobcats rookie Raymond Felton Jr. The shiny new black Chrysler 300 parked in the driveway is quite an upgrade from the ’92 Buick LaSabre that the parents spent countless hours driving between Latta and Chapel Hill to watch their son play college basketball. Those are two of the many gifts Felton has given his parents since the Bobcats selected him with the fifth pick of the 2005 draft out of North Carolina.
