Armando Bacot the shot-blocking center, swatted away expectations and the pain in what some around the program suggested was a miraculous recovery. Some way, somehow, Bacot made it through the team’s shootaround Sunday well enough that he would dress out and test his ankle in warmups. An hour later, he was back in the starting lineup.
