College Football Playoff: 40-point offenses, transfer quarterbacks and more separation than ever

Sunday's College Football Playoff pairings showed that offense is king, transfer quarterbacks rule, and top programs continue to create a gap from everyone else. In other words, no surprises. No. 1 LSU will play No. 4 Oklahoma in the Peach Bowl. No. 2 Ohio State faces No. 3 Clemson in the Fiesta Bowl. Those are the FBS' top-five scoring offenses.
