North Carolina Football: Athlon Sports 2019 Team Awards

In a season filled with close games, UNC finished 6-6 and made a bowl game. Mack Brown’s first year back in Chapel Hill has to be considered a rousing success. Here are the awards for this exciting Tar Heel season. Offensive MVP: Quarterback Sam Howell completed 60 percent of his passes for 3,347 yards, 33 touchdowns, and just 7 interceptions.
