Sometimes, school abbreviations create confusion, as the University of South Carolina-University of Southern California battle illustrates. A fun example came Thursday from Colorado radio station 104.3 The Fan, which briefly reported that Ed McCaffrey was taking the head coaching job at North Carolina, rather than the other UNC, Northern Colorado.
