Sam Howell Named USA Today Freshman All-American

North Carolina quarterback Sam Howell, who broke the ACC record for passing yards by a freshman and set a new FBS mark for touchdown passes by a true freshman, leads the Freshman All-American Team. Howell threw for at least two touchdowns in every game in leading UNC to a bowl berth in coach Mack Brown’s first season back with the program. (USA Today)
