Asst. DA: Barrington Edwards blew 'sweet deal' on charges by not appearing in court

North Carolina tailback Barrington Edwards had a "sweet deal" arranged for two speeding tickets, but after he failed to appear in court several times, the deal has been wiped off the table. Edwards skipped a court date in Chapel Hill last week and again Tuesday, which Assistant District Attorney Beverly Scarlett said was his last chance.
