UNC basketball looks to find offensive footing in former stadium against Wofford

The last UNC men’s basketball regular-season game at Carmichael Arena, then Carmichael Auditorium, was a 90-79 win over N.C. State on Jan. 4, 1986. It marked a 14th straight victory for the then-No. 1 Tar Heels. Roy Williams, an assistant under Dean Smith at the time, hopes Sunday’s trip down memory lane recaptures some of that old magic.
