Linebacker Trenton Simpson Commits to Clemson

On Saturday, Clemson landed a commitment from 247Sports' No. 3 linebacker Trenton Simpson of Charlotte (N.C.) Mallard Creek. Simpson arrived in Clemson Friday for an official visit and was offered by the Tigers on Saturday. The former Auburn commit has long considered Clemson his dream offer. Had the Tigers not offered, UNC would have been the heavy favorite. (247 Sports)
