UNC Signs All-American Defensive Tackle Clyde Pinder


With ace recruiter Tim Brewster leading the effort, UNC fought off a late surge from Florida to score All-American defensive tackle 's National Letter-of-Intent on Signing Day. Pinder, a 305-pounder from Seffner (Fla.) Armwood High, committed to UNC in June. He never decommitted, but began to waver when Florida offered in November. (Inside Carolina)
