When Tyler Hansbrough stepped to the free-throw line in the second half against Santa Clara Saturday, the Smith Center went accordingly silent. Then, just as Hansbrough was lining up, a female voice shrieked and echoes throughout the arena. “We love you, Tyler!” Hansbrough missed the foul shot. And then the next.
