UNC uncertain if Quentin Thomas can play

North Carolina will end a 10-day layoff today after breaking for final exams, but the playing status of point guard Quentin Thomas is still a mystery. Thomas remains bothered by a stress fracture in the middle toe on his left foot, despite a lengthy rest during the exam period. (Winston-Salem Journal)
