Records Fall in Bunches for Tar Heels in Military Bowl Victory

With 13:51 remaining in the fourth quarter, Dazz Newsome’s 29-yard acrobatic touchdown catch set a new UNC bowl game record for most points scored. It was also when Newsome eclipsed 1,000 receiving yards on the season, joining Dyami Brown to form the first Tar Heel duo ever to have two 1,000-yard receiving seasons in the same year.
