Tar Heel football commit to play LB in Shrine Bowl
Posted Dec 13, 2005
Jacksonville White Oak's Deunta Williams is expected to get plenty of work Saturday in the 69th Shrine Bowl, but not at his usual positions of safety and wide receiver. The North Carolina team will use him at linebacker. Williams, who is 6-foot-3, 185 pounds and runs the 40 in 4.4 seconds, has committed to North Carolina. He is rated the state's No. 2 prospect, regardless of position, and the No. 12 safety in the nation.
