UNC vs. Georgia Tech Postgame Notes

UNC missed its first 15 shots. Garrison Brooks made UNC's first field goal with 6:50 to play in the first half, making the score 30-8. Brooks scored a career-high 35. Tech's 58 points in the paint are 20 more than any other team scored in the paint this season (Gonzaga 38). The 20-point deficit (47-27) was UNC's largest ever at the half in the Smith Center.
