UNC Coughs Up Double-Digit Lead in Loss to Pitt

Pittsburgh rallied from a 14-point deficit to defeat North Carolina, 73-65, on Wednesday night in handing Roy Williams’s squad its seventh loss in 10 games. UNC led by 11 points with 17 minutes left in the game. That’s when the Tar Heels got sloppy, coughing up eight turnovers over the next nine minutes, gifting the Panthers 12 points off those miscues.
