UNC Football Signee Jefferson Boaz Sets East Surry's All-Time Basketball Scoring Record

This time, East Surry senior Jefferson Boaz was honored on the hardwood instead of the football field. East Surry recognized Boaz for becoming the school’s all-time leading scorer in boys’ basketball Wednesday. Though he broke the record on January 3 in a road game against Davie, the school waited until the team played at home to honor his accomplishment. (Mount Airy News)
