Brandon Robinson had career highs in points (27) and tied his career high with five three-pointers. This was UNC's first loss in 60 games to Clemson in Chapel Hill. The 59-0 record was the longest unbeaten streak at home against an opponent in NCAA history. It was the first time UNC has lost consecutive games at the Smith Center when leading at the half.
