Hundreds of people gathered at UNC’s indoor practice facility for National Girls & Women in Sports Day in Chapel Hill on Sunday, January 19. Participants practiced with UNC’s women’s soccer team. Members of UNC’s softball team practiced throwing the ball with participants. UNC’s field hockey team was among the many women’s teams in attendance.
