UNC celebrates eighth annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day
Posted Jan 20, 2020
It was a day of celebrating women's sports at North Carolina, as 15 varsity teams representing 36 national championships greeted over 1,200 visitors for UNC's eighth annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Each team set up a station with a "mini-clinic" so the hundreds of grade-school children could get autographs from their favorite UNC athletes.
