Former UNC assistant C.B. McGrath did not win enough basketball games. That is why he is no longer the head coach of the UNCW men’s program. An 11-game losing streak, complete with a loss to CAA cellar-dweller Elon over the weekend, became the linchpin moment needed for change. It’s not surprising. This move felt inevitable, a matter of when, not if.
