Kennedy Monday Wins ACC Wrestler Of The Week Honors


UNC junior Kennedy Monday has been named ACC Wrestler of the Week after his technical fall win over the nation's No. 3 wrestler at 165 pounds led the 12th-ranked Tar Heels to a 23-10 upset at No. 3 Virginia Tech last Friday. Monday, ranked No. 17 nationally, put UNC in firm control of the match with his 21-6 victory over the Hokies' David McFadden. (GoHeels.com)
