For North Carolina men’s basketball coach Roy Williams and Notre Dame’s women’s basketball coach Muffet McGraw, a bond has been forged during the 2019-20 season that prompted Williams to call McGraw earlier this month while both coaches were in the midst of disappointing seasons.
