Against all odds, UNC knocks off Kentucky
Posted Dec 4, 2005
North Carolina couldn't win. Not when it's playing at Rupp Arena in its first road game of the season. Not with an eight-man rotation featuring four freshmen, including three freshman starters. Certainly not with Kentucky shooting 50 percent from the field. But the Tar Heels disregarded all of that as UNC upset No. 10 Kentucky 83-79, stunning the crowd of 23,380 and a lot of outside observers in the process.
