North Carolina Goes Cold in Loss at Florida State

North Carolina went 11 minutes without a field goal in the second half as No. 8 Florida State persevered in a defensive matchup for a 65-59 victory on Monday. UNC (10-12, 3-8 ACC) led 37-33 at the first media timeout after halftime and then missed its next 17 field goal attempts. The Seminoles outscored the Tar Heels 19-5 during that stretch to take command.
