Records aside, UNC-Duke rivalry roars on

North Carolina forward Armando Bacot thinks back to last year when he spent time in south Florida with now-Duke center Vernon Carey Jr. They had developed a friendship on the youth circuit, playing with and against each other along the way. Now, they’re attending rival schools. “We haven’t talked since he has been at Duke,” Bacot said this week. (New Bern Sun Journal)
