Posted Feb 11, 2020
North Carolina is expected to name John Lilly its next tight ends coach, multiple sources confirmed Tuesday. Lilly spent the 2019 season coaching tight ends for the Cleveland Browns. He was not retained when head coach Freddie Kitchens was fired following the season. Lilly takes over at UNC for Tim Brewster, who left to become tight ends coach at Florida.
