The atmosphere against Wake Forest in Winston-Salem was nothing like Saturday’s battle against Duke in the Smith Center. In that game, UNC scored 96 points in nearly toppling the No. 7 Blue Devils. The Tar Heels showed more fight than in any other game. With similar effort, UNC shouldn’t have had a problem against Wake Forest. But that was the problem.
