“Company is misery's best companion,” Joey Melendez said, seated next to his North Carolina teammates Clay Lautt, Jaime Hernandez, and Zach Sherman. “Going through it together is way better than doing it by yourself.” The four UNC wrestlers had just finished a Monday evening practice in the blistering hot wrestling facility tucked away in Fetzer Hall.
