Bunting hopes to keep staff intact

Defensive coordinator Marvin Sanders, linebackers coach Tommy Thigpen and defensive ends coach and recruiting coordinator Brad Lawing all are signed through the 2006 season. Defensive tackles coach Ken Browning is up for renewal. On the other side of the ball, the Tar Heels have offensive line coach Hal Hunter signed through next season. Wide receivers coach Dave Brock and running backs coach Andre' Powell are eligible for new contracts. (Durham Herald-Sun)
