UNC Football Increasing Assistant Coach Salary Pool

While Mack Brown’s five-year contract worth $3.5 million annually paid roughly the same as his predecessor, UNC's most significant investment came in its assistant coaching salaries, which topped $4 million for the first time in 2019 and will climb higher in 2020. In Brown’s first year back in Chapel Hill, UNC paid its assistant coaches a combined $4.4 million. (Inside Carolina)
