Young Tar Heels still have a lot to learn
Posted Dec 1, 2005
It's a little like North Carolina freshman Bobby Frasor was explaining after Tuesday night's 68-64 loss to Illinois in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge -- a loss is still a loss. "We had our chances, and we'll learn from this," Frasor said. Indeed, the young Tar Heels should learn, and the likely painstaking inconsistencies that appear to be looming in UNC's basketball future will, at times, be difficult to take for Rams-Clubbers, especially. But it would be a sin to count this team out. What it showed in losing to Illinois was some character.
