Seeking the program’s second title at the National Indoor Championship finals on Monday, the No. 4 seed UNC men’s tennis team came up short in a 4-1 loss to No. 2 seed USC–the first loss of the season for coach Sam Paul’s Tar Heels. For the first time in their last 24 matches dating back to last season, the Tar Heels started by losing the doubles point.
