UNC’s Alessia Russo replaces Lucy Bronze on England roster for SheBelieves Cup

On England’s roster for the 2020 SheBelieves Cup, UNC standout Alessia Russo will fill in for 2019 FIFA Player of the Year award finalist and former UNC star Lucy Bronze. The English women’s national team announced Wednesday that it has added Russo to its roster for the upcoming tournament after Bronze was forced to withdraw due to a calf injury.
