A close game between two of the top 10 women’s lacrosse teams in the country on Saturday in Charlottesville saw top-ranked UNC score eight of the last nine goals down the stretch to defeat No. 7 Virginia by a score of 18-12 (Highlights). Junior attacker Jamie Ortega led the Tar Heels with five goals, while Katie Hoeg added four goals and two assists.
