One down. Four to go. No. 14 seed North Carolina exploded past No. 11 seed Virginia Tech in the second half to secure a first-round 78-56 victory in the ACC Tournament on Tuesday. The Tar Heels put the game out of reach with a 13-0 run midway through the second half to claim their fourth win in five games and continue their late-season push.
