Roy fires up Heels in win
Posted Nov 26, 2005
His team was dragging, and the crowd was quiet. It was the perfect time for Roy Williams to get excited. With North Carolina leading UC Santa Barbara 45-41 and the first media timeout of the second half beginning, Williams got into the face of referee Mike Wood after a carrying call against point guard Bobby Frasor. UNC's coach carried that emotion into his huddle, and the Tar Heels responded with a 16-2 run that lifted them to an 83-66 victory.
