In the past week, 5-star UNC Women's Basketball signee Deja Kelly led her team to a state championship, picked up two All-America honors, and a prestigious state award. On Friday, she was named 2019-20 Gatorade Texas Girls Basketball Player of the Year, which recognizes not only athletic performance but outstanding academic achievement and character.
