UNC’s Bill Guthridge named to Assistant Coaches Hall of Fame

Bill Guthridge, who served as an assistant men’s basketball coach to Dean Smith at the University of North Carolina for 30 seasons and helped the Tar Heels win two NCAA championships, will be inducted posthumously in the A STEP UP Assistant Coaches Hall of Fame, according to a University of North Carolina news release.
