Tar Heels to level practice field

Forget leveling the playing field. North Carolina is going to level its practice field. UNC football coach said the school will begin construction Monday on a new practice surface. The Tar Heels currently practice on two grass fields -- one for offense and one for defense. The offensive practice field is on higher ground than the defensive field, something that will change with the new arrangement. (Durham Herald-Sun)
