Ex-Tar Heels reunite during Knicks visit

Larry Brown's heart may be with New York, but his blood tends to run Carolina Blue. As soon as the Knicks hired Brown, the North Carolina connection to Madison Square Garden was fused, especially after Brown filled out his coaching staff with Tar Heel alums Phil Ford and Dave Hanners. Those three are part of the extended Carolina family whose roots trace back to "Coach" Dean Smith.
