Our second region of the Greatest UNC team ever bracket is named after the coach of North Carolina's undefeated 1924 team that was named Helms Athletic Foundation champion. Norman Shepard coached one season in Chapel Hill. He has the highest winning percentage in program history as he went undefeated and never coached the team again. (Tar Heel Blog)
