Triangle Timehop: Today in local college basketball history (March 26)

March 26, 1977: UNC beats UNLV 84-83 to advance to 's second national title game. Carolina trailed at the half - remember, this UNC team was a veritable MASH unit at this point, with out for the year and and both banged up - but they rallied in the second half and went into Four Corners, then held on.
