April 2, 2016: UNC beats Syracuse 83-66 to advance to the title game, UNC's first appearance in it since 2009 (and first Final Four since 2009). Syracuse, the 10-seed, had been on a Cinderella run of its own after many had argued they shouldn't have even made the tournament. Brice Johnson and Justin Jackson led North Carolina with 16 points each. (WRAL Sports Fan)
