Posted Apr 3, 2020
April 3, 1993: UNC beats Kansas 78-68 to advance to the title game, UNC's first appearance since 1982. It was a bit of revenge for Dean Smith and the Tar Heels after they'd lost to Kansas in the semifinal in 1991. Donald Williams scored 25 points to lead the Tar Heels. Eric Montross had 23 points and George Lynch had 14 points and 10 rebounds.
