Triangle Timehop: Today in local college basketball history (April 4)

April 4, 2005: UNC wins its first men's basketball title since 1993 and gets his first-ever title, beating Illinois 75-70. It was "Talent vs. Team" going into the game, the inference of course being that UNC had all the NBA talent and Illinois was a team.
