What if college athletes such as Cole Anthony were allowed to make money off their name, image and likeness? Anthony would have had a projected $476,000 annual endorsement value. Based on average rates athletes and celebrities charge for Instagram posts, and Anthony's nearly 600,000 followers, he could have made roughly $4,000 per post.
