Matt Baker held out his hand and spread two fingers about 2 inches apart. "We needed this much," the North Carolina quarterback said. He then moved his fingers ever so slightly. "And we got this much," he continued. That half an inch made all the difference in the Tar Heels' 24-21 victory Saturday afternoon against Atlantic Coast Conference rival Duke.
