Vince Carter misses out on proper NBA sendoff

The final game of Vince Carter’s remarkable NBA career was scheduled to take place Wednesday night in Atlanta. Carter, a Daytona Beach Mainland High alum and former Orlando Magic player, announced his intention to retire last summer before the start of his second season with the Hawks.
