Tommy Richardson is the kind of guy who will come out of the North Carolina locker room and give high-fives to a row of media members. He’s the kind of guy who will wear a gold Chinese silk tuxedo to his senior prom. He’s a captain. The team leader in tackles. But then again, Tommy Richardson is the kind of guy who will mention eight people as the reason the defense has improved so much this season — without mentioning himself. (Daily Tar Heel)
